Welcome back, everyone! Last week, King released his newest novel, The Outsider! Part crime-fiction, part supernatural, it's a great blend of the genres that King loves, and the mix creates for a new, enjoyable experience that plays upon real-world fears. Plus, it includes the appearance of a fan-favorite Stephen King character! That was such a treat!

From the original description:
"Hey guys! This past weekend, news hit that a big-budget adaptation of The Tommyknockers directed by The Conjuring and Insidious director James Wan was being shopped around. So I decided to share my thoughts on this, along with my thoughts on some news regarding The Stand adaptation. But because The Tommyknockers is such a maligned and unloved novel, I thought it was important for people to be able to see it in a different light, so I've re-released my review of the book, which isn't without it's flaws, but is jam-packed with wonderful ideas, imagery and chills that make me excited for whatever James Wan (I trust that guy!) has up his sleeve."

From the original description:
"Wow. I didn't know I was going to be as excited as I currently am about the upcoming It adaptation. This week was an incredible week to be a fan of Stephen King. On Tuesday, we were treated to a poster and a tease for a record-smashing trailer that ultimately debuted on Wednesday. Between the incredible poster and the trailer, my expectations for this movie are now very high. In this week's episode, I review this past week and break down WHY this trailer is as effective as it is."

"Hello, everyone! In this episode, I review the official first poster of The Dark Tower, discuss the passing of Bernie Wrightson and provide an update on the future of the Stephen Kingcast. This was a spur of the moment recording (because I didn't expect the poster to arrive) so I apologize for the lack of microphone and song intro/outro."
